People who are professed
chex mix haters have been known to scarf this version. It took my sister
who loves pre-made chex mix a little while to get used to the flavor,
though.

16 oz. whole grain chex

1 ½ c wheat pretzels or
Peppridge Farm Snack-Stix

1 c Goldfish crackers
(optional)

1 c unsalted cashews
-
1 c dry roasted peanuts
(unsalted)

6 T olive oil
-
2 T Worchestershire
sauce

1 t onion salt
-
¾ t garlic powder

1 t seasonings (I
combine Italian blend herbs and thyme)

½ t salt or soy sauce
(optional)
Combine first five
ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the olive oil with the other
seasonings. Pour this sauce over the dry ingredients. Stir until evenly
coated. Spread in two 9x13 pans. Bake for 1 hour at 250ºF, stirring
every 15 minutes. Spread out on dishtowels covered with wax paper to
cool. The mix will get crispy as it cools.
